Who’s a Good Girl?!?! Dakota is!

Blue heeler Dakota, who is deaf, saved her family from a house fire. “When asked if this story may have been different had Dakota not been there, Hector Fire Chief Jake Jones stated, “Yes, I believe so; I believe Dakota is the difference between them being alive and them not being.”

“While Dakota couldn’t hear the flames, he could see and smell them, alerting his owners as the house was engulfed in flames.”
