Hero is a hero! He saved his owner’s life and alerted rescuers!

Hero’s owner had fallen in a ditch in the freezing Alberta winter. Hero protected him from coyotes and alerted rescuers to his location.

“‘(Hero) was being protective. That dog probably had not eaten for several days. He was incredibly stressed and, obviously, powerless to help his owner. He had to fight off coyotes,’ McPhee said.'“

Without Hero’s loyal actions his owner may not have survived another day.
